Driving Directions

   The historic mining/resort town of Breckenridge is located two hours west of Denver International Airport via Interstate 70 and Colorado Highway 9 southbound. Arriving from Denver, you'll drive westbound on I-70 and through the Eisenhower Tunnel as you cross the Continental Divide. At Exit 203, Highway 9 South, you'll travel 10 miles to Breckenridge. If you arrive in Colorado Springs, the drive is approximately two and one-half hour's northwest of Colorado Springs Airport via U.S. 24 and Colorado 9 northbound.

AGR Express Motorcoach Cost Options

Shuttle Service

    Shuttle service is available from Denver International Airport to Breckenridge.(107 miles) through Colorado Mountain Express (http://www.ridecme.com/ or phone:  800-525-6363 or 970-926-9800.  The cost is about $58 one-way for individuals.  If you have a party of 3 or more, the cost goes down.  If you have a party of 7 or more, the best option is to reserve a private 10-passenger van at the cost of about $335 each way.  Another option is individual car rental.

Special Hotel and Airfare

    To get your preferred rate of $84 at the Embassy Suites (Denver Airport), for Friday or Saturday night before the Convention and/or Tuesday or Wednesday night afterwards at a discounted $129 rate, call and ask for “code AGR”.  The Embassy Suites provides deluxe Suite rooms with a complimentary airport shuttle, free made to order breakfast and an afternoon Manager’s Cocktail Reception.  All tours and shuttles to Breckenridge will depart from the Embassy Suites unless previously arranged. 

    This option is recommended for those who wish to stay in Denver for the Ag Tour on Friday or Saturday night, or to stay before or after convention in Denver. Receive preferred rate of $84 at the Embassy Suites (DIA) for Friday or Saturday night before the Convention and/or Tuesday or Wednesday night afterwards at a discounted $129 rate. We have also arranged a discounted airfare to Denver on Frontier Airlines where Alpha Gamma Rho National Convention attendees are eligible to take a 10% discount.  Tour code G48F must be used on all tickets, and all rules of the published fare apply. Special fares are  from August 12-19. This program discount may not be used or combined with any other air travel certificates or program discounts.  Roundtrip purchase is required. Attendees may take advantage of their discount by calling Frontier Airlines at 800-908-9068 and referencing Shell Number MC048F.  Attendees may also use a travel agency by providing the agency with Tour Code G48F at the time of booking.  The Tour Code must be properly applied to the ticket in order for the discount to be taken.  Travel agency instructions are available from Frontier Airlines at frontierairlines.com > MyFrontier > Travel Agency.  Failure to use the proper ticketing procedures may result in debit memos.
