Chapter elections will be occurring shortly, and it is vital for you to stress the importance of elections and encourage brothers to run for office. Remind the chapter that elections are about selecting the brother that is the most qualified for the position. It is about the brother who can offer the strongest leadership and who will follow through. If it becomes a popularity contest, the highest qualified brother may not get elected.
Also, please remind the Chapter that all officers must live in the chapter house and have a cumulative GPA of 2.20/4.0 or higher to hold office. These mistakes are easy to avoid with your help.
