Dear Noble Ruler:

The Home Office has two summer opportunities for undergraduates, the Leadership Assistant or Summer Intern position. We would like you or someone in your chapter to consider applying for one of these positions this summer. Enclosed is a job description for both positions and an application to be completed and returned to the Home Office by December 30. While there is financial compensation for the Summer Internship position, the real value in either position is the experience itself.

If you or someone in your chapter was accepted for the summer internship position, they would have the opportunity to get to know more about the operations of the National Fraternity, visit other parts of the country, help other chapters and learn skills that can help give you and your chapter the competitive edge! The position is an opportunity to meet some of the leaders of the National Fraternity and be involved with the decision making and direction of Alpha Gamma Rho as we head into the twenty-first century.

The other opportunity for the summer is the Leadership Assistant, a volunteer position. Leadership Assistants are undergraduates who travel to another chapter to assist with recruitment. The Leadership Assistant would focus on visiting incoming prospective members at their homes to tell them about AGR. This position is an opportunity to visit another part of the country and have a significant impact on the local chapter. The length of employment can vary from two weeks to 12 weeks. Please note on the application which position you are interested in. Please ask other qualified brothers in your chapter to consider this opportunity as well.
