Brothers John D. Hooker II and Marshall Baker were inducted into Florida Blue
Key Leadership Fraternity at the University of Florida, November 24, 2002.
Brother John D. Hooker was also named to “Who’s Who in Universities and
Colleges, November 15, 2002. (AGR ACTION, January 2003)

Alpha Gamma Chapter at the University of Florida won the Outstanding New
Membership Education Award. This is one of two awards given by the University of
Florida and the Interfraternity Council at the annual Greek awards banquet. With
over 46,000 students and 27 fraternities, this is a big accomplishment for Alpha
Gamma Rho. The Dean of Students at the University of Florida is extremely happy
with the new membership programs they have and he wanted to congratulate
everyone on what he says “provides a safe environment for new members.” (AGR

10/15/02:
14 members of AGR at the University of Florida are Ambassadors for the College
of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The CALS ambassadors hosted 90 students from
nine colleges and universities in the southern region on the UF campus. This was
a great opportunity for current and future leaders to meet and discover new
leadership and teamwork skills. (November AGR ACTION)
