12/15/02: The members of Delta Gamma and of Alpha
Gamma Rho were crowned overall winners of 2002 Homecoming, “Miami’s Vice.” They
accomplished this feat by taking home three first-place victories in the soap
box derby, large banner, and lawn display competitions. The members were led to
victory by homecoming directors Russell Goodman and Robert Elliott as well as
assistant director Will Barnes. Good man and Elliot decided to ramp up AGR’s
usual participation this year by competing in the soap box derby car race and
lawn display for the first time in several years. The hard work finally paid off
as AGR won its first overall first place trophy since 1998. (AGR ACTION,
