In February 2004, the Weed Science Society of America (WSSA) will conduct its annual meeting in Kansas City, the national home of AGR and site of the 1st National Weed Control Conference in 1953 sponsored by the Association of Regional Weed Control Conferences. WSSA (originally WSA) was organized by an executive committee from the Association in 1954 in Fargo, ND, and the first meeting of WSSA was subsequently held in New York in 1956.

To celebrate this occasion, AGR National Headquarters will host a reception for all Brothers (including retirees) who are associated with weed/plant management associations or businesses, weed research, teaching, or extension with academics, industry, and governmental agencies.

In order to plan for this function, we need to compile a list of all AGR Brothers with a weedy connection. We can then provide more information on the reception.
