Delta AGRs in Florida

Sailors all! Those off for a cruise of Charlotte Harbor
are Jan Waitt, Nancy Ward, Jan Harris, Justine Crume,
Jayne Odle, Marsha Fredericks, Ted Priebe, Bernie Harris,
Rose and Gerald Wilkins. Skipper John Lucas has his
back to the camera at the controls.
Golf, boating, card games, food, and lots of talking filled the day when 47
Delta alumni and spouses gathered in Port Charlotte, Fl., for the second
time in two years.
John and Barbara Lucas hosted us this year at the Charlotte Harbor Yacht
Club. John took a dozen sailors for an hour-long excursion.
Another “baker’s dozen” played golf between brunch and dinner. A major
accomplishment of that group was teaching Brother Phil Josephson how to play
Purdue style golf. Dudley Williams took charge of that effort.
Phil Josephson from the AGR Home Office also attended and gave us an update
on the national fraternity. He encouraged each of us to attend the National
Convention August 15 - 18, 2004.
We look forward to a repeat of this event somewhere in Florida in 2005.
