Charter Removed

The National Board of Directors has found Alpha Sigma Chapter at California State University-Fresno guilty of violating the AGR Ritual, the National Constitution & Statutes, the Brotherhood Program and the Risk Management Policy.

The violations of the constitution, policies, laws and ritual were so egregious that bold, strong action and discipline were required. The Board believes that the most appropriate action to take was that which assured the greatest chance for success of a chapter at Fresno State.

The Board removed Alpha Sigma’s charter.

The removal changed all undergraduate members to alumni status. The charter is assigned to three trustees. They will have the authority to reorganize the Chapter after they have the consensus of alumni support to uphold AGR standards.

Any action in the form of an Alpha Gamma Rho undergraduate chapter or a collegiate member at Fresno State is forbidden. Only the trustees, with authority from the Executive Director and Grand President, have the authority to act in the name of Alpha Gamma Rho on the Fresno State campus.n
