Tom Davis Elected Vice Grand President

     Saturday August 27, Tom Davis was elected Vice Grand President of the National Board of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.  Davis was serving as a Director on the National Board and as a Trustee on the Housing Resources Trust Board.  The election was held during the Leadership Conference in Kansas City.

Davis is the Publisher of Successful Farming® Magazine. He is also Director/Vice President of The Rosewood Marketing Group, Inc., a company specializing in publishing, telemarketing and tradeshows. Davis received a Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Economics in 1980 from Purdue University.  He was initiated to the Delta chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho in 1974.

Tom’s accomplishments include the Grand Presidents Award and Brother of the Century award of AGR, the R.C. Ferguson Award for Distinguished Service to NAMA, National President of NAMA, the Honorary National FFA Degree and a 2004 Distinguished Agriculture Alumni Award from Purdue. He is a past Chairman of the American Business Media Agri-Council and currently serves as Vice-President of the Agri-Business Education Foundation and on the National FFA Foundation Board.

           Tom and his wife Sandy live in Des Moines, Iowa and have one son who is a senior at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
